Fight Like a Pearl

Today, over 200 million people will gather to watch the Super Bowl this year — one night that captures massive attention, energy, and billions of dollars. At the same time, pediatric cancer research across our entire country operates on only a small fraction of that scale. 🥺 When I think about that, I think about kids like Pearl… and all the families fighting battles most people never see. The ones who are currently consumed by grief. The ones who are currently fighting for one more day. And the ones who are sitting in cemeteries visiting their babies who left too soon. 💔😭💔 Imagine if even a small portion of that attention were directed toward our children. More research. Better treatments. More time. More parents getting the chance to watch their kids grow up. We don’t have to choose between enjoying the game and caring about this fight — we can absolutely do both.
